Hello,
My name is Jeffrey D. Brown I grew up in New York City. My great grand parents are from Stigliano. A few years ago I got my Italian citizenship and passport along with 17 other family members.
My wife and I will be coming to visit Stigliano on May 6 and 7 th. We are hoping to meet relatives of the Sarubbi family or Delpriore family.
I am the great grandson of Pietro Sarubbi
( born 13/07/1877) His father was Giuseppe Sarubbi and his mother was Carmela Amato-from Stigliano. He married Caterina Delpriore ( born 11/06/1883) Her father was Antonio Delpriore and her mother was Maria Lucia Sarno also from Stigliano. They lived in Yonkers, New York with their daughter Elizabeth Lapchick, my grandmother.
Sadly, I don’t speak Italian, so I hope to find someone in Stigliano who speaks English and can help us go to the Comune Di Stigliano to find relatives living in Italy. We live near San Francisco, California.
My US phone and WhatsApp number is
415-244-6716
My email is: jeffreydjbrown@gmail.com
Please put me in touch with members of Sarubbi family and someone who can translate. Thank you so much.
